JD Edwards – Sales and Distribution Consultant

Our client is actively looking for an experienced JD Edwards Consultant (Sales and Distribution Module) to join its team on a full-time basis. Our client is a leading JD Edwards Global SI, and is seeking a JD EDWARDS DISTRIBUTION CONSULTANT for a full-time role for Oracle | JDE EnterpriseOne implementation, upgrade, support, and rollout initiatives in Australia.

We are looking to hire a seasoned JDE Distribution Consultant with a proven track record with JD Edwards implementations, upgrades, or rollouts for upcoming projects at our clients in Australia. The projects will be based out of Melbourne and may involve other locations (based upon requirements).

Role, Responsibility and Skillset

Key Responsibilities include - JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.x Implementation, Support and Upgrade consulting.

Key desirable skillset will include;

• Minimum of 1 full-cycle implementation or upgrade or managed services experience of EnterpriseOne is mandatory; 2-3 lifecycles will be nice to have.
• Proven experience in Requirements gathering / As-Is from legacy systems review and/or user interviews, gap identification and To-Be design, followed by detail configuration and testing cycles
• Understands implementation/upgrade methodology and follows it well
• Deep knowledge of E1 system configuration methods and standards.
• Ability to translate and map business requirements into the EnterpriseOne 9.x system
• Drive standardised business processes among ERP systems/functions to simplify business processes Develop functional specifications for new development and/or interfaces
• Working with offshore development and functional teams
• Leading the testing / CRP / iCRP / UAT cycles, incl. documentation and ability to train end users Experience with any of the following related functionality in JDE will be an asset – Advance Pricing, Warehouse Mgmt., Transportation, RSS, Supplier Self Service.
• Knowledge of User Productivity Kit (UPK), OneView Reporting (OVR) and E1 Pages
• Expertise in standard productivity tools - MS Office, MS Project, MS Visio, MS SharePoint, etc. Industry experience in Distribution and/or Mfg. vertical pillars

Requirements

• Must Have: At least 10 years’ IT experience or related experience.
• Must Have: recent focus around J.D. Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) for JDE Distribution module (Inventory, Procurement, Sales)
• Must have: 6+ years of proven JD Edwards EnterpriseOne experience
• Oracle | JD Edwards certification will be one of the key differentiators.
• Self-starter able to handle multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A university degree is preferred but comparable industry experience is acceptable. IT background is a plus. Solid supply chain, business or consulting background is highly desirable.
